Many of my students know that the most effective way
00:02
to hit a good quality bunker shot is by using the bounce
00:05
of the sand wedge through the sand.
00:07
So what I did, is took some of my daughter's finger paint,
00:10
I put some green finger paint on the face of my wedge.
00:13
Then I put some orange finger paint
00:15
on the top part of the wedge, and a little bit
00:17
on the back part of the wedge.
00:19
The release for the bunker shot is quite a bit different
00:21
than the release in the full swing.
00:23
You basically want the face of the wedge
00:24
to look at you through the entire bunker shot.
00:27
That's how you engage the bounce of the wedge.
00:29
Let me show you how it works.
00:38
So, remember, hit a good quality bunker shot,
00:40
and use the bounce.
00:41
Make sure the face of the wedge looks at you
00:43
through the entire shot.
